Killer Whale
The news about the death of the trainer at Seaworld was shocking. Killed by a killer whale. Yes, you have to remember that animals such as that are wild, and they are just acting out their nature. But still shocking as it took place at Seaworld, with people watching, and the trainer had worked with the whale for a long time. Just doesn't seem like something like that would happen--so sudden and swift. It reminds me of the death of the woman at the Elephant Sanctuary in Hohenwald, TN. The elephant knocked her down and stepped on her in a split second. So hard to come to grips with.
My Joints Are Feeling Great
For a while last year, my joints, particularly my ankles, felt awful when I would first stand up. I would feel like I would hobble for a few seconds and then things would be OK. Not only was i uncomfortable, it was embarrassing. I am too young to have that happening. But am I? Several people in my family have suffered from rheumatoid arthritis, so I could certainly have it too, or get it at some time in the future. All I know is that I have felt better. Maybe I have just lost enough weight that it has made the difference.
Wanting To Get A Netbook
My poor ole computer is on its last legs, and I want to get a netbook. I like the small size, the lighter weight, and the smaller price! I like to watch streaming video, so I need to make sure that I can find one that can do that. I have to admit I like the cherry red ones! I'll just have to look at the ads, surf the web and try to find the deal of the day. I am probably going to use some of my tax refund to buy it.
I Love The Olympics
This is the first year I have really watched the Winter Olympics (I am a Summer Olympics nut) and I have utterly enjoyed it! Watching Shaun White, the cat fight between Lindsey and Leslie, and the coach who told his student to change lanes erroneously. All good stuff. And of course the death of Norad was horrific. How very sad. Who would have thought something like that would have happened. I love the Olympics so much, I am hoping to become a volunteer. I applied too late to volunteer at the Greek Olympics, but maybe I will get lucky with London 2012.

Where Are All The Jobs?
Things are scary out there today. I am wondering where all the jobs are and when they are coming back. I am so fortunate--I have a job--but it is probably not a good one for me--and I am wanting to think about moving on. But when I check around, there are still hardly any openings. I feel very sympathetic for those who were let go a while ago and still have no signs of a getting a new one. They may not have kept up their skills. I have done a good job at keeping up my skills, so when jobs open back up, I may not have that much trouble finding another one.

When Men Want To Know What To Get Their Women
Even though I did get two bouquets recently (another online match gone wrong) I didn't get any for Valentine's Day. I can't help but be a little sad about that. I really want to meet the right guy and soon! Sometimes men friends will ask me what would be unique gifts for her--their girlfriends. I always tell them to start paying attention to what she says she likes and what she tends to gravitate to. But flowers are always good too! And you can never go wrong with handmade items either.
Ask Your Doctor If Enzyte Is Right For You
Imagine asking your doctor if enzyte is right for you and not knowing that it was a male enhancemet drug! Wouldn't that be embarrassing! I wonder if doctors have really gotten their share of those questions that TV commercials encourage you to ask. But I guess only a moron would ask a doctor about a drug that they don't know anything about! At least I hope so.
